Mozzarella Sticks

Makes about 6-9 sticks

Stuff you'll need

  • 3 small or medium bowls
  • a paper towel
  • 1 medium or large plate
  • a large or medium pan
  • High moisture mozzarella
  • Breadcrumbs
  • Flour
  • 3 large eggs
  • 5 tablespoons of oil

Place the flour, eggs, and breadcrumbs into three different bowls. Whisk the eggs together. Cut up your mozzarella into sticks. Take one stick and place it into the flour, then the eggs, and then the breadcrumbs. Do this process 2 times (When doing the process for the second make sure place the stick(s) into the eggs before you put it into the flour). When all the sticks are done (make sure they are on a plate), stick the sticks in the freezer for about 45 minutes. Take the sticks out after 45 minutes and prepare the oil and the pan. Let the sticks sit out for a bit while the oil is heating up. When the oil is done, carefully do one or two sticks at a time. They should take about 1 minute or less. When the stick(s) are done place them on a paper towel, to soak up any oils, then move the sticks to a plate and serve with favorite dipping sauce.
