Final Call

Leadership is selling suicide awareness magnets in honor of Olivia. If you would like to order a magnet, please contact Mr. Larson to arrange payment and pick up. Payment can be done upon pick up with cash or check, or through My Mealtime app. The cost for a magnet is $8 each. All proceeds would go to a suicide prevention program. We have 13 left!

Want to order a yearbook? There are 3 ways you can order a yearbook. Pay in person at the office with cash or check, pay through My Mealtime or through LifeTouch (code 7018821). Yearbook costs $15.

This year Amity is offering summer school and summer enrichment for our middle school kiddos. This is available for next year's 6th-8th graders here at AMS. Below you will find the Summer School/Enrichment Application Packets.

8th Grade Information

8th grade graduation will be happening on Sunday, June 13th at 2pm at the AHS Football Field. At this time, we will have eight (8) attendees per student. Tickets will be given out from the office. Promotion will be broadcasted through the NFHS account. This will be free as long as you have an account set up through NFHS.

In order to attend graduation, we ask that you please sign up through the Google form below. Tickets will be given out the week leading up to graduation.

Below is a map that will show you were to park for graduation on Sunday the 13th. If you are ADA approved, we have a parking area. Mrs. Wallace will be opening and closing the gate for our spectators with ADA accessible parking.

A mandatory graduation practice will be happening on Thursday the 10th at 10:15am. All 8th grade students are required to come. Students can be dropped off at the high school football field.

The students will be receiving their 8th grade field trip on Wednesday, June 9th to Bullwinkles. Permission slips went home on Monday/Tuesday of this week and need to be returned to the school by Thursday, June 3rd. Lunch will be provided to our 8th graders, pizza and drinks.

8th grade check out will be happening on Monday the 7th and Tuesday the 8th. All school books, chromebooks, chargers, library books, etc. will be due at this time. If your student owes anything, they will not be allowed to attend the 8th grade field trip.

During the last week of school, June 14th-17th, the 8th graders will not be attending school.

If you have any questions regarding any of the 8th grade information listed above, please feel free to contact the school.

6th/7th Grade Information

6th/7th Grade check out will happen on Monday the 14th and Tuesday the 15th. All school books, chromebooks, chargers, library books, etc. will be due at this time. If your student owes anything, it will carry over to next year.

Last day of school will be Thursday the 17th.

Staff Alerts

Next year, there will be some staff changes here at AMS.

Ms. Matocha will be assuming the position of principal! We are excited for her to take the role of leading our school.

Mr. Stuckart will be leaving our school, heading over to the elementary to become the math specialist.

Ms. James will be leaving our school and relocating.

Mr. Larson, our counselor, will be leaving, heading over to the Bend/La-Pine School district.

Please be sure to congratulate our staff and give them well wishes on their next adventures!

Leadership News

Students who applied for leadership will be notified if they were accepted for the 2021-2022 Leadership group.

This year's students will be notified by Mr. Larson regarding the upcoming Leadership field trip to Seaside. Permission slips are required to be turned in order to attend.

Warriors Serve

Student store opens daily at 11:20am. This is available for all our students during this time.

Warriors Serve is still accepting applications for the 2021-2022 school year. Please be sure to get them turned in.

New York/Washington, D.C. Trip

The Spring Break 2022 DC/NY trip is the only trip that will be available to our current 6th-8th grade students during their middle school years. Our next trip will not be until Spring Break 2024. Your student can still register for the trip.

Library News

After a challenging start, with hybrid classes and virtual students, Battle of the Books began battling this spring, and concluded with a victory for the Reading Rebels. It was a narrow win, with both teams persevering despite the challenges, and battling with enthusiasm and skill. Great students, great year!
