One Life among Many The Impact of just one changed life

JuLY 2015

Even before Colegio San Agustin was in my heart, God was already doing His work in the background. We had started a new life group during Fridays, but there were only two girls in it. We prayed hard for more to join us. Within the same month, I was informed that I will be the campus missionary to Colegio San Agustin. Little did I know, God was already arranging everything for His purpose.

Alex, one of the girls was able to invite her friend from school, Caryll. Caryll was from CSA but because of problems she encountered with some schoolmates, she was moved to Alex's school. The experience left her insecure, suicidal and hungry for love and attention. She encountered Christ and found her security in Him.

Caryll's life was so radically changed that her parents and her older brother were amazed at her transformation. Charles, who also went to CSA and also experienced a lot of rejection and bullying in school, met Christ and surrendered his life to God. Their parents went with them to church and on January 2016, the whole family went to Victory Weekend.

A Grade 9 student from CSA named Lance was at the lowest point of his life. Because his parents were never married and because both parents had families of their own, Lance felt unloved and unaccepted, leading to rebellion in school and failing grades. He was already confessing that he did not believe in God anymore when his busmate from our CSA small group invited him to church. In the youth service, he met Charles, and they built a friendship that led to him knowing Jesus.

Lance felt the love and acceptance that he did not have at home among other young people who loved God. This led him to surrender his life to Christ and his perspective in life radically changed.

Lance felt a burden to share to his batchmates and started his own life group inside campus, with a vision to tell others about what Christ did for the lost.

2016 in Review

Caryll's story is just about one life. Charles' story is just about one life. Lance's story is just about one life. But God has put together these separate lives into a wonderful tapestry that would go on to impact many other lives. And they are but a few among the many lives touched by God in 2016.

We are simply instruments as we step out in obedience to Him. The video below tells the story about the linked lives and stories in 2016 that show how God is moving in our nation and beyond.

Thank you for continuing to co-labor with us to "Change the Campus, Change the World."

Prayer Points

  1. Please pray for the outreach month this February 2017, as we talk about manhood, womanhood, marriage and sex in the light of God's word, that many students will surrender their lives to Christ and find real love in Him.
  2. Please pray for our Purple Book Class, a class to help students go deeper in their biblical foundations, that it would be an excellent help to their spiritual growth.

Thank you so much!
