The year is certainly flying by and we’ve enjoyed an action packed first few weeks of term 4. The big highlight for me was attending the APPA Choir Festival of Music at the Auckland Town Hall on Wednesday 7 November. I was very proud to see our choir perform on such a big stage with real confidence. A big thanks to Mrs Kleinedeters and Ms Malcolm for training the choir throughout the year.

We have an exciting few weeks ahead of us including parent teacher interviews, senior athletics and junior tabloid sports.

School Closed 12 November

Just a reminder school is closed on Monday 12 November 2018 for the NZEI Strike action

School Parking

When you are dropping off or picking up children please ensure you do not park in the flats car park next to school, on yellow lines or across any driveways. The Police are supporting us to enforce parking rules around the school drop off zones. Please assist us to keep everyone safe.

2019 Students/Pre School Morning

We are considering the make-up of our classes for 2019. To help us with this job, it is useful to be informed of any new students who intend coming to Chapel Downs and of any families who are leaving. If you have neighbours, family or friends who are planning to come here please encourage them to pre-enrol. Our Pre-school Visit Morning will be held on Thursday 22nd November from 9.15am

Please ring the office on(09) 274 8002 if you would like to attend.

Term 4-Parent/Student/Teacher Interviews

The team is looking forward to reporting to you on students’ progress against their learning goals. Parent / Student / Teacher interviews will be held in week seven – Thursday 29th November from 2pm
