The Site

Inspired by vintage Pin-Up imagery, DRRTYGRRLS pays homage to the visual style and whimsy of traditional Pin-Up, while putting a modern spin. The alluring title is a nod to modern websites like SUICIDEGIRLS.COM

While scouting locations and looking for volunteers, Michael was introduced to AUTUMN SCIOLI, a Model and Makeup artist, through mutual FB friends.

The DrrtyGrrls Project was put on hold before Autumn and Michael ever got to do a shoot... But that didn't stop the two from eventually collaborating...

SHUTTERHUT CREATIVE STUDIO is the result of the collaborative effort between Autumn and Michael. Autumn knew that she could make people happy by transforming them with her makeup skills and amazing ability to connect on a human level, and that Michael could capture that energy forever in images.

That became the mission of ShutterHut. A transforming experience, leaving you with an amazing photograph as a testimony forever. What happened next, was magic.
