Valotta Studios A Solomon Caw Marketing Case Study

The Studio

As far back as the 6th grade, Valotta Studios Owner, Nadine Valotta knew she wanted to open her own music studio. While attending West Chester University for her Bachelors and Masters in Music Education, she opened a music studio in her home in 2008. From small beginnings, to a staff of 21 instructors, and her right hand man, John Ericsson, Valotta Studios continues to bring the arts to school age kids in Chester County.

Consulting Services: Social Media Consultation & Blog Consultation

The Challenge

Nadine started Valotta Studios fresh out of college. Her first few years as a small business owner were tough; 13 hour days included teaching classes, hiring and training instructors, budgeting, taxes, contracts, and more. Early on, Nadine's business grew by word of mouth. Knowing she couldn't simply rely on word of mouth, she tried mailers, but they were ineffective and very expensive. Adding to the marketing challenge was the fact that the Studio isn't easily recognized from the road. The studio is located in Chester Springs on Route 113, a busy road, but no one knew she was there.

The Solution

Nadine and her staff did a great job handling social media, but she knew she needed to amp up her marketing efforts in order to meet her goals of increasing her group classes and summer camps. Solomon Caw Marketing was the perfect solution; providing consulting services that helped drive increased traffic to her website and Facebook page.
