Why did you choose Loomis?

Coach [Jeff] Moore made Loomis feel like a home, and I knew Loomis would help me reach my goals for the next level, athletically but also academically.

What has been your favorite thing about Loomis?

I love the feeling of heading back to the locker room after winning a game and dancing and celebrating with my teammates. There is no better feeling on the Island for me.

What is your best Loomis memory to date?

I will always remember being given the mic at the pep rally and going crazy and having everyone get excited and go crazy with me. We won our game the next day, and I will always remember having a blast and making everyone laugh.

Do you have a special pregame ritual?

Not really. I usually say a quick prayer, and then Coach Moore and the boys let me give a little pregame speech. I'm good at getting everyone pumped up and it always helps me focus.

What is the biggest challenge living so far from home?

It can be tough, and I definitely get homesick, but Loomis has created a new family for me, and they are there for me whenever I am down or something isn't right.

What do you like most about living in the dorm?

I love the weekends when I can hang out with the boys, watch football, eat good food cooked by the dorm parents, play ping pong and pool, and just laugh and have a good time.

How has Loomis helped prepare you for college?

There is no way I would be going to Princeton without every single person at Loomis Chaffee, from my teachers and coaches all the way to the dining hall employees and housekeeping staff. I have learned how to work hard, manage my time, and I have adjusted to the college-like atmosphere that Loomis creates.

What is one thing most people don’t know about you?

I'm a beast on the basketball court — I like to think I could've gone pro!

What is one thing you learned about yourself during COVID-19?

I have been cooking like crazy! I think I am pretty good. When we come back to campus I am going to cook for the dorm and everyone is going to be impressed.
