Student Government at MCC

Montgomery Community College's student government association (SGA) provides an official means of representing and advocating student interests and concerns to college officials. They serve and support official student organizations, hold regular campus activities, and contribute to campus life.

The elected officers of the Student Government Association consist of a President, a Day Vice President, an Evening Vice President, a Secretary/Treasurer and a Public Information Officer. The SGA advisor is the Coordinator of Student Life and Recruitment, Jessica Latham.

All current MCC students are members of the SGA and as such, are welcome to attend regularly-scheduled SGA meetings. Student government is a great way to have a voice and to build leadership potential.

Come meet your new officers at the next SGA meeting on Monday, December 9 at 12:30 PM or 5:00 PM in the Student Lounge.

College Transfer Fair Coming December 3rd

Colleges and universities will be on campus on Tuesday, December 3rd from 12 PM - 1:45 PM to provide information about transferring from MCC to their institution. Learn about their admissions processes, find out about majors and programs, discover scholarship opportunities and financial aid requirements, and much more! Don't worry if you are not sure which questions to ask. College representatives will provide you with the information you need to know. Don't miss this great opportunity to find out what these institutions have to offer.

Please Take Care Navigating the Corridors in Blair Hall

Please be careful as the demolition crew removes the ceiling grids in Blair Hall over the next few days. They will have areas temporarily blocked and will be moving materials up and down the corridors. If you should have any concerns, please contact Wanda Frick at frickw@montgomery.edu or 910-898-9637. Thank you for your understanding and patience!
