varsity players of the for week 1 vs Redford union

Koby helped to prepared the team running the opposing team offensive and defensive schemes at practice.
Chase had three kickoffs for a total of 178 yards, his average was 59.3 yards. Punting, Chase had four punts with an average of 35.8 yards and his longest was 40. He also had one PAT.
Connor had 9 tackles, 6 tackles for loss, 2 assists and one fumble recovery.
Torrell had a huge 28 yard reception and one TD for the Cranes.
Jack played running back and quarterback on offense. He had 26 yards rushing, 14 yards receiving and one rushing TD. On defense, he had 4.5 tackles, 2 tackles for loss, one assist and one fumble recovery.

jv schedule: week of September 3 - 9

  • Tuesday: Practice from 3:00 to 5:00. Welcome Back Picnic at 5:30 on the Quad
  • Wednesday: Orientation Day. Practice from 3:45 - 6:00.
  • Thursday: First day of school. Bus leaves for game at 4:30 p.m. WEAR WHITE. Game time 6:30 p.m. at University of Detroit.
  • Friday: Full day of classes. 4:00 - 5:30 Conditioning and film.
  • Saturday: Varsity game at 3:00 at Cranbrook. Wear blue jersey if attending the game.

Schedule note: There is no school and no practice on Monday, September 10.

Important upcoming events

September 28 is Friday Night lights and homecoming. this year, the football team will be celebrating the 60 year anniversary of Pete Dawkins - cK class of 1955 - winning the heisman trophy IN 1958 while playing for west point.

You can read more about the amazing life of Pete Dawkins here. Mr. Dawkins hopes to be in attendance for this game. It should prove to a very special Homecoming!

To honor this epic milestone, the ck football team will be selling special friday night lights spiritwear - camo bucket hats - with the ck logo on front and a tribute to pete dawkins on the back.

All JV and Varsity Players will sell these hats in the week leading up to the big game. Each player is responsible for selling 10 hats. These will be distributed to the players the week prior to the game. Funds will go to support the Football Program. More information to follow as we get closer to the selling dates. There are blue digitized camo and green army camo hats.
