Best Moments in FLax 2017 Highlights from No. 3 Florida's 7-1 start

The No. 3 Gators are currently riding a seven-game win streak after dropping their season opener to then-No. 1 North Carolina. Let's take a look to see how #FLax bounced back:

February 24, 2017 - No. 4 Florida vs. No. 3 Southern California

The Gators and Trojans met for the first time in Florida's only home night game of the year.

The Gator defense forced USC into a program-record 24 turnovers
Goalkeeper Haley Hicklen set a career-high with 13 saves
Senior attackers Sammi Burgess (left) and Mollie Stevens (right) each tallied five points to lead the Gator offense
Gators Win, 15-10

Florida would then travel to take on in-state rival Jacksonville.

Senior attacker Mollie Stevens set a single-game record win 11 draw controls in the win over the Dolphins

The Gators cruised past the Dolphins, winning 21-14.

Florida headed north for spring break, to battle with No. 16 Towson, Loyola, and the cold.

The No. 3 Gators and No. 16 Towson Tigers squared off in 32 degree weather.

Senior attacker Sammi Burgess set a career-high with seven points (three goals, four assists)

Gators Win, 13-6

At Loyola on March 8, the Gators defense limited the Greyhounds to just five goals and 16 shot attempts in a 15-5 victory.

With downtown Baltimore in the background, the Gators began the game at Loyola on a 12-2 run

March 11, 2017 - No. 3 Florida vs. No. 7 Stony Brook

Stony Brook entered the game undefeated (5-0) and ranked seventh nationally.

Florida's defense forced 15 turnovers and only allowed 23 shot attempts.

Freshman midfielder Brianna Harris chipped in with a career-high five draw controls.

Junior attacker Shayna Pirreca had a perfect four-for-four shooting day, and added an assist.

Senior attacker Mollie Stevens filled the box score with seven goals, 10 draw controls, and four ground balls.

Gators Win, 22-14

March 14, 2017 - No. 3 Florida vs. No. 5 Syracuse

Gators Win, 19-12

In its first BIG EAST Conference game on March 18, Florida doubled up the UConn Huskies in a 20-10 road victory.

Snow blanketed the field at UConn, but the Gators came away with a 10-point victory

The Gators return home on March 25, to take on No. 14 Denver at 12 P.M.
