Today we recognize ALL of our strong, independent and hard-working women. We come forth and join hands for a day that is well deserve. Women want to stand tall and be #boldforchange. International Women's Day allows us to do so. It gives us the opportunity to voice our opinions in hopes for a better working world filled with gender equality while celebrating their achievements.

Be bold for change is the theme for International Women's Day 2017. The purpose is to standout and be adamant in your support today.
This is not just a group of women but an army of them that are serious and will not take no for an answer.
There are over 50 countries paid and unpaid participating in the International Women's Day strike. This is the most political International Women's Day by far.
Today women across the country are taking "a day off' and it's not only for labour. the mommy duties are being passed on the fathers as well. A day without women for 24 hours.
Similar to the Women's March on Washington, women are calling the anyone out that is not rooting for gender equality or women's rights. The fight for gender equality has been taking place for centuries and it is far from over.
