In silence
They hurried out of the room
Then began to crawl
Flamed with a sudden passion
From the ranks
Come little squeals of the excitement
Small hands reached out
There was a violent explosion
Faces were distorted with terror
A mild electric shock
Something desperate, almost insane
The explosions ceased
The sob and yelp of infant maniacs
Their howling suddenly increased
After two hundred repititions
A most welcome silence
