Discover Patagonia MARCH 6 - 19, 2022

Amid the pristine landscapes of southern Argentina and Chile, snowcapped volcanoes and sparkling lakes set the backdrop for an exhilarating adventure. Experience Patagonia’s rugged natural beauty by foot, boat, and private vehicle, journeying from the idyllic town of Bariloche to Torres del Paine National Park, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. Come face-to-face with the Perito Moreno Glacier, part of the world’s third largest ice cap; navigate the legendary Beagle Channel, looking out for seabirds and sea lions; and round off your trip with a tango lesson in bustling Buenos Aires.

You'll be traveling with Sisterhood Travels and Cool Retired Women with National Geographic Journeys in a small-group (minimum 8 travelers - maximum 16 travelers). All travelers must be at least 18 years of age - no exceptions possible. Some tours (optional) may include light hiking, biking, rafting, or kayaking in addition to walking but the Physical Rating for this journey is Average. You have the option to design much of your trip to be as active as you wish.

You must be fully vaccinated to travel on this tour

Eating is a big part of traveling. Generally meals are not included in the trip price when there is a choice of eating options, to give you the maximum flexibility in deciding where, what and with whom to eat. It also gives you more budgeting flexibility, though generally food is cheap. Our groups tend to eat together to enable you to taste a larger variety of dishes and enjoy each other's company. There is no obligation to do this though. Your CEO (Chief Experience Officer) will be able to suggest favorite restaurants during your trip.

Note: Food is generally considered to be more expensive in Argentina and Chile than in most other South American Countries. Moreover, as this is a comfort tour many passengers may want to visit more exclusive restaurants. We recommend that you allow for approximately $550 - $750 for your additional meals. Vegetarian and vegan dining are easily accessible.

OPTIONAL ACTIVITIES

Bariloche Rafting, Hiking, Mountain Biking, Volcano Day Hike, Paso Desolacion Trek, Perito Moreno Glacier Boat Tour, Ushuaia Helicopter Ride, The Maritime Museum and Prison at the End of the World Museum, Tierra del Fuego National Park Visit, and much, much more!
