Compare and Contrast Mercury and earth

Mercury is the smallest and also the 2nd closest planet to the Sun (including Pluto). It takes around 88 days for it to fully rotate around the Sun. It is the shortest period of time that a planet rotates around the sun. It is also the hottest planet in our solar system.

Mercury

Earth on the other hand is the 3rd closest planet to the sun. It is the 5th closest planet to the sun (Including Pluto). It takes Earth 365 days to fully rotate around the giant star in our solar system. Earth is the 4th hottest planet and it happens to be the perfect amount of heat and cold to be habitable for life.

There are many differences and many similarities between the 2 inner planets. Earth and Mercury both are rocky planets. They both have large iron cores. They both rotate in and anti clockwise rotation. They are also a planet in the Milky Way galaxy

Earth and Mercury and also very very different. Earth is habitable for life and Mercury is not. Mercury does not have water unlike earth. Mercury is very hot and earth is just the right temperature. Mercury has 0 moons and Earth has 1. There is air on Earth and not on Mercury
