Dear June, Memories of you from Loved ones

A few photos from your daughter Joanne (who has been amazing in every way and very helpful in putting this project together.

"OH Miss June. Thank you for everything you gave us and for Loving us all along the way. We were so fortunate because of you." - Alison.

From, Bette Bass who says "I am sending my "blessing" from June, something she particularly loved and sent to me on a couple of different occasions."

A Blessing

May you awaken to the mystery of being here and enter the quiet immensity of your own presence.
May you have joy and peace in the temple of your senses.
May you receive great encouragement when new frontiers beckon.
May you respond to the call of your gift and find the courage to follow its path.
May the flame of anger free you from falsity.
May warmth of heart keep your presence aflame and may anxiety never linger about you.
May your outer dignity mirror an inner dignity of soul.
May you take time to celebrate the quiet miracles that seek no attention.
May you be consoled in the symmetry of your soul.
May you experience each day as a sacred gift woven around the heart of wonder.

One quote that June shared with me, long ago when I was young and learning how to write by keeping a journal: “The unexamined life is not worth living.” - Socrates

Here are some photos (14 of them) with June that we have treasured among our finest memories. . Some are recent, some 10 or so years ago, and some go back to when she was married to Allen, my grandfather - and even earlier. - Michael Lisano

From, Doug Sittason

June insisted we experience Laguna Beach and lunch at Las Brisas. Her directions were different than "Siri " and we were a little anxious- but she was absolutely right! Afterwards she wanted to sit and take in the views. One our favorite memories of visiting with her.
