"Eyes Singing Out" created by Yayoi Kusama in 2012 is really intriguing to the eye. I was really captivated by the beauty and boldness of the installation. Located along the Brisbane Supreme and District Courts, George Street, the steel and enamel design reflects a "watchful public" showering a sense of omnipotence and enlightenment. In particular, the disembodied eye featured in the art work is symbolic and appears in many cultures throughout time. This contemporary piece resonates with me as I am drawn to modern, simplistic features with underlying stories.
