The Four Seasons Resort
Since its opening in 2008 it has always impressed. Each bungalow comes with its own pool on an enclosed deck overlooking the sea, with direct access to the lagoon. The Four Seasons Resort is located on Point Matira in Bora Bora, which was voted ‘the best island in the world’ by U.S. News in 2012. The resort has an infinity pool, a tennis court and free guided snorkelling tours of the lagoon sanctuary, which is home to many exotic marine animals. Guests can also enjoy kayaking, catamaran cruises, windsurfing and shark feeding.
Le Meridien Resort
This resort is a beautiful, with a vast infinity-edge pool, an inner lagoon and chalk-white beaches along with restaurant and bar areas. Guests have a choice of beachfront and overwater bungalows, or suites and villas with private pools on the beach front. Each includes an in-room safe, satellite TV, iPod docking station and a minibar. Snorkelling equipment, kayaks, outrigger canoes and pedal boats are available for use free of charge. One of the resorts highlights is the Turtle Centre, which is a rehabilitation centre. Guests can swim with the turtles in a protected lagoon and watch the babies being cared for.

This resort contains 120 units, including 84 overwater bungalows and hillside villas. It includes an infinity pool, five restaurants and the amazing glass-floor viewing panels in the overwater bungalows. Overlooking a beautiful turquoise lagoon, the Hilton Bora Bora features luxurious villas with a spa bath and a private balcony offering lagoon views. Each room includes a spacious lounge area with flat-screen cable TV and a CD player. This breezy, open-air restaurant provides an enchanting dining experience with delectable food. It's well known for its Japanese cuisine as well as well-executed French and Polynesian dishes. Maikai
This highly rated eatery offers excellent Polynesian cuisine with a refined twist, savoured in a vast and stylish dining room overlooking the lagoon. Prices are surprisingly reasonable for the quality of the fare. On the northern outskirts of Vaitape. Free shuttle at dinner. What is Recommended is the outstanding beef fillet with homemade mashed potatoes. For desert try the luscious chocolate mousse.
Fare Manuia
The hardest thing about eating at this local favorite is deciding between the excellent meat or fish dishes, crunchy salads and delicious pasta or the huge wood-fired prime rib. No sea view – it's in an enclosed area beside the coastal road – but there's a small lounge section with a tiny pool at the back. Free shuttle at dinner.
