Caught in between two storms STORY AND PHOTOGRAPHY BY ROBERT NEFF

July 16, 2017. I was at Fort De Soto for a late afternoon walk.

At Fort De Soto's Bird Sanctuary, I could see the leading edge of the southern storm.

Looking north I saw a massive storm over north St. Pete and Pinellas Park. To the south, the leading edge of another massive storm .

I walked up to North Beach, stopping at Bunce's Pass on the northern end. Here I saw a massive dark storm with a blue-grey hue.

From Bunce's Pass, I turned around to look south and see the other storm rising.

Drove down to Fort De Soto's southernmost point. The storm was hitting the warm water and rising. The lightning show was spectacular.

Enjoy more stories and images of what I get to enjoy everyday!
