Andy Warhol By: autumn clewis

Andy Warhol was born August 6, 1928 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania his parents was slovakian immigrants. This is where he grew up and the time period of this time was in the roaring 20's.

Andy at the age of 8 contracted Chorea which is a rare disease which messes with the nervous system. This was a memorable moment in his life because he was sick for a couple of months his mother started giving him drawing lessons which started him off into the art world.

The overall meaning of his artwork is he wanted to pop out with his work expose sex, as well as materialistic things in his art work in a way to make it pop out stand out against the crowd by creating simplicity rather than complexity.
