Blackboard Getting started
> You should have access to Blackboard about 5 days before classes but do not submit work until the FIRST DAY OF CLASS.
> Course Requirement Checklist, CRC, should be completed by 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday. This is used the first week to check for attendance.
> Browser Best Options: Firefox & Google Chrome. (Safari works well for Mac users) Internet Explore or Edge not recommended.

> Troubleshooting Tip: Having Blackboard problems, try clearing your cache & cookies.
- PC: Crtl + Shift + Delete
- Mac: Command + Shift + Delete
> Keyboard shortcuts (for Discussion board posts):
- Copy: On a PC Crtl + C | On a Mac Command + C
- Paste: On a PC Crtl + V | On a Mac Command + V
> Quizzes & Tests: should these lock out you must email your Professor to reset the quiz or test the IT HelpDesk cannot do this.
> SafeAssign: This a program running in the background and will scan most assignments uploaded for plagiarism. If you are citing your work and you not cheating don't worry.
> Always read instructions and when you upload documents make sure they are in the correct file format. (Microsoft Office, ex. Word Document .docx)
