A Self Portrait. Well, an aspect of me anyway

Well the stuff in the above picture is an aspect of me. Its my work. It also happens to be some of the stuff I love. This aspect of me, is the photography side. I like to think I'm quite a bit deeper than my job. As Tyler (narrator) from the notorious film Fight Club says, "You are not your job, you're not how much money you have in the bank. You are not the car you drive. You're not the contents of your wallet. You are not your f****ing khakis."

Let me explain further. The coffee. I just loooove my coffee. As in, if I don't sleep well, or have a complete lack of sleep, it shows on my face. The film camera - I completely love shooting on film. It gives me huge joy and pleasure to do so, despite the abundance of technological giftings from the internet and computer gods. (This ties in with the film - and don't get me wrong - if I do a wedding, its mostly digital). The laptop - well, I need tools to enhance (note how I didn't say "edit") my photos.

What I left out --> earphones. Music. I function super well with music. It enhances my workflow. Depends on what I'm doing, but I like 70's & 80's rock as my staple, workout music if I have a lot of work to do, and classical music for enjoyment. --> cigarettes. yes, I said it. Everyone needs a vice of sorts. If someone tells you that they don't have a vice of sorts, that person is a liar.

Anyhow, keep your eyes peeled for more fun facts about me.
