The group of five guys that make up Audrey Hollow begin their story in early 2017, meeting through the North Carolina music scene. After gathering tour experience with a previous band, the five decided to change the pace, so they set out to break all the rules of music classification.
The band began writing music in July of 2017, working collectively in an attempt to evolve their style of writing, and to find “the sound”. In April of 2018, the band came in contact with manager/producer Cameron Mizell (Sleeping with Sirens, Memphis May Fire, Slaves), and began working with him through Chango Management. After over a year of writing music and curating friendships within the industry, the band traveled to Phoenix, AZ, and recorded their debut album at Chango Studios with their somewhat-newfound friend/manager, Cameron Mizell. The band successfully wrote and recorded a collection of music, which is filled front-to-back with soul-crushing emotion, hooks that will be stuck in your head for weeks, high-energy moments with crushing lead guitar and punchy ryhthms, yet the perfect amount of soft, emotional moments with clean guitars, pianos, and astounding incorporation of pop music elements throughout the structure and melodies of the songs.
Furthermore, the band is humbled to have an entire community of supporting artists/bands (ElIza Grace, Danny Worsnop, Marty Mullins, Mike Milioni, Mirror Lake, & more), and has proudly contributed to several aspects of many of these artist’s inner workings. As a result of many of the aforementioned connections that the band made with other musicians, they quickly discovered the importance and beauty of collaboration, and began to elevate their music to a new level by incorporating the perspectives and ideas of other musicians into each song they wrote. Through the combination of a diverse array of musical styles, Audrey Hollow hopes to reach as vast of an audience as possible, and connect with their fan base on an emotional level through their music.
