Green Team announcement

Are you interested in the environment? Do you want to make Smith and our community a cleaner, greener place? Then GREEN TEAM might be for you!

We take care of our school's recycling, educate our community on the benefits of being green and plan fun projects focused on making our world a happier, healthier place. Come join us every Monday from 3:10 - 4 pm in room 2. See Mrs. Bonnell if you have questions or come to our next meeting!

Parents, if your child needs to have medication in the office (epi-pens, Tylenol, inhalers, etc.) you will need to set up time with Mrs. VanDyck in the office to drop off and ensure that all medical/medication documentation is complete. Remember, all medications must be kept in the original package with original labels, and be current not expired meds.

Message from our Food Service

The Troy Schools Food Service Department, which is contracted by Chartwells, is seeking friendly people willing to fill various vacancies within the Food Service Department that are responsible for providing lunches to the students of the Troy School District. Not to worry if you haven’t had previous experience, as “on the job” training will be available!

Depending on the school, the hours would primarily be during the middle of the day, but will vary depending on the vacancy. And you would be earning some extra money while your students are in school! Come join our Food Service Staff by calling 248-823-5089, or please email us at ngervais@troy.k12.mi.us.

I look forward to hearing from you!
