Ruel Marasigan PHOTOGRAPHY and More

"The whole point of taking pictures is so that you don’t have to explain things with words.”

~ Elliott Erwitt ~

Hi everyone welcome to my photography webpage. I'm Ruel Marasigan, a native from Manila, Philippines, and a graduate of B.S. Chemical Engineering from Mapua Institute of Technology. I'm presently working for Phillips 66 and living in New Jersey, U.S.A. I've been photographing for many years but I didn't care what my photographs looked like or what the outcome of them were....just as long as I could see what the subject was, I was content. Photography never become my passion until 2009 when I decided to upgrade my point and shoot camera to a DSLR. Since then, I have learned so many things about photography, not only shooting using auto mode, but also using different settings including manual mode...Photography grew to be one of my hobbies. I consider myself more of a hobbyist photographer or an amateur photographer as some people call it. I pursue photography for sheer fun and enjoyment and to improve my level of ability by capturing worthwhile memories to treasure. I’ve always gotten more pleasure in looking back on the pictures I’ve taken in the past, reminiscing about the beautiful sights and most wonderful places I’ve ever seen. I’m trying to find time to photoshoot as much as I can....You can find me using either a Canon 60d or a Canon T2i, Iphone 6S plus and GoPro Hero+.... Thank you for taking a time to visit.....

MONTREAL , CANADA
MONTREAL, CANADA .....is the largest city in Canada's Québec province. It’s set on an island in the Saint Lawrence River and named after Mt. Royal, the triple-peaked hill at its heart. Its boroughs, many of which were once independent cities, include neighbourhoods ranging from cobblestoned, French colonial Vieux-Montréal – with the Gothic Revival Notre-Dame Basilica at its centre – to bohemian Plateau.
Notre-Dame Basilica (Montreal, Canada) The church's Gothic Revival architecture is among the most dramatic in the world; its interior is grand and colourful, its ceiling is coloured deep blue and decorated with golden stars, and the rest of the sanctuary is a polychrome of blues, azures, reds, purples, silver, and gold. It is filled with hundreds of intricate wooden carvings and several religious statues.

BORACAY, PHILIPPINES

One of the most visited destinations in the Philippines, Boracay is famous for its beautiful beaches and great parties. The beaches are often compared to paradise lost because of their white sand that’s incredibly soft and nice.
