Bernal Heights Park San Francisco, CA

Sometimes I need to get out of the city.

I haven't been a city dog for long, but it can get pretty boring, pretty fast, and sometimes it gets too hot.

This park is special because Mom and Dad took me here our first Christmas Day altogether as a family, and since it's only 4.5 miles from home, they take me here when I want to really run.

Even when it's sunny, it's always windy,

Which means lots of fresh air.

There's lots to sniff and touch here, too. There's paved paths for humans, narrow pebbly dirt trails all around the hills, tall grass, oh, and lots of fox tails, so make sure you get a good head and body check.

I'm big and fluffy so I guess I'm lucky because it's harder for the needles to get stuck on me. I don't mind though, because it means Mom always rubs my belly and legs when we get home.

This is from a single visit.

When I'm really amped, I run up and down the hills, like a crazy dog.

Then I get really tired.

I swear I didn't do anything!
