LA VINA COMMUNITY
EXISTING CONDITIONS
The La Vina community has areas within the community and along the main local collector street (Avenue 9) that are in need of infrastructure improvements. The subdivision located south of La Vina was installed with adequate sidewalks, but pedestrian mobility routes do not exist north of the subdivision and entirely along the north side of Avenue 9. A study for the community will result in mobility options for the residents and visitors of the area. The future policies and plan will create a better pedestrian, biking, transit, and vehicle circulation route for the community.
La Vina Community Meeting 5.23.2017
On Tuesday, May 23, 2017, a public meeting was held at La Vina Elementary School to collect input from community members on the existing conditions and potential changes to make transportation more viable in La Vina.
