News from 4G Learning, sharing collaborating

Hello 4G parents

Just a quick few reminders. Tomorrow our classroom assistant, Ms Seema, has organised a holi for tomorrow. To take part the children will need a spare clothes to get dirty in and a plastic bag for the dirty clothes.

Also, advance notice. The first week back Year 4 will have their own 'Dragons' Den' on Friday at 8.30 (click on the link to view our promotional video). Like the TV show, 'dragons den,' the children will be sharing their ideas for potential businesses for the next year 4 market day with you. We hope the event will be a chance for you to ask questions and help the children clarify both their business idea but more importantly, their organisation. The children will be working on google docs, so they can share their presentation with you at home if you are unable to make the event.

Photos from the Year 6 exhibition

Today 4G took the opportunity to visit the Year 6 exhibition. The children enjoyed hearing about a range of topics from human rights, technology, to disability in sport. Many of the children in the exhibition are children that Justin and I taught in 2014/15. It's amazing to see the learning and growth that occurs between Year 4 and 6. I can't wait to see what this current class of 4G achieves as they move up the school.

We hope the children have a safe and restful holiday and look forward to hearing about their adventures we return.
