This is a BMI (Body Mass Index) calculator. There is a kids version as well as an adult version.

According to the National Institute of Health, 33.1% of adults in the US had a BMI of 25-29.9 which is considered overweight. 35.7% of adults in the US had a BMI of 30 or more which is considered to be obese.

The Lack of exercise And Large consumption of Unhealthy foods can lEad to deadly results.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, only 49% of adults 18 and over met the Physical Activity Guidelines for aerobic physical activity. 21% of adults 18 and over met the physical activity guidelines for aerobic physical activity and muscle strengthening activity.

Childhood obesity Can lead to diabetes which can also lead to a shorter lifespan.

According to the American Heart Association, "The risk of elevated blood pressure among children and adolescents rose 27% during a thirteen-year period"

Did you know Health care expenses directly related to childhood obesity are over $14 billion a year?
