Late bloomer. I guess that's what you call the almost thirty-year-old sitting in a classroom of recent high school graduates. I'm Brittney. I graduated from Sullivan South in 2005 and started failing life shortly after. At 18 I couldn't wrap my head around the true value of a college education and I dropped out. I thought beauty school would be my saving grace; instead it was a waste of time and money. I spent the next too many years living paycheck-to-paycheck before I decided to give college another shot.
Fast forward a couple of years and I'm not failing as much anymore. Now I have my dream job - I am a Makeup Artist and Product Specialist for M･A･C Cosmetics. I graduated Cum Laude from Northeast State and am currently pursuing my B.S. in Advertising and Public Relations.
When I'm not doing makeup or homework, I spend the little free time I have playing with my nieces and nephew, being a mommy to my two fur babies, traveling to Nashville and spending entirely too much money crafting.
After graduation, I hope to stay with M･A･C and work on our Viva Glam campaign. To date, we have raised over $415 million for the HIV/AIDs cause - making us the leading contributor, even over pharmaceutical companies. I am one of the lucky people that gets the amazing opportunity to combine my degree with my passion.
