SCM 17 School of campus ministry baTch 17

January 23, 2017, first day of 3 month intensive training for 36 men and woman who answered the call of God to change the campus and change the world!

There were 3 of us represented from VisMin Region, I'm the only one in Visayas, while there are two from Mindanao. There were 7 Internationals and the rest are from Luzon.

These are our International classmates. (From left to right) Elias from Sweden, Akira from Japan, Rivo from Indonesia, Asuka from Japan, Irma from Indonesia, Peter from Dubai and Jonas from China.

We had the opportunity to visit and learn from the Youth Services of other Centers. We went to Malate, Katipunan, U-belt, Antipolo and The Fort.

We had learn a lot from School. We had Apologetics, Hermeneutics, Systematic Theology, Homiletics and other Subjects that we can learn from The Bible during our combined classes with Church Planting and World Missions. We also had offsite class in Antipolo. My favorite subjects are Preaching class and Strategic planning class.

Had a chance to witness DISCIPLESHIP ENGAGE 2017, March 24, 2017. More than 12,000 Victory group leaders and interns went to the SM Mall of Asia Arena for our annual discipleship conference. Victory group leaders and interns were empowered to engage our culture and communities by preaching the gospel.

Had the opportunity to host an event for our Real Life scholars. I learned a lot for I was assigned to oversee the program.

36 of us survived the strategic planning paper presentation and defense from the panelist. And we are all excited to execute our action plans to our respective campuses and area assignment.

During our free time, we invest it on mentoring and sharing lives with each other. Our men classmates had their own mentoring too!

Our last day of class was really great with Pastor Tito. We had self assessment test and we learn how to balance our emotions, create a life message and other great stuff. Then we end our session with a prayer, acknowledging that still it is God who will direct our steps.

And ofcourse the most awaited event, our graduation! We all graduated! Glory be to God!

Thank you for sending us to the 17th School of Campus Ministry. Your prayer and partnership plays a vital role to make this possible!

School of Campus Ministry was a life changing event for me. Every experiences and lessons will forever be treasured in my heart. Every morning we either had worship, prayer or group devotions before the class begin. We had endless paperworks and assignments plus preaching drills and strategic plan paper which really pushed us to become more effective ministers. I had a lot of input during classes but what really struck me was one of our topics from our Character Building Class. I was amazed to realized that God really looks at the heart and because He is concerned at what is happening inside He will never stop until we become the person that He wants us to be. It is because of His sufficient grace still. We just have to respond in humility when there is pruning in our character.

Let us continue to Change the Campus, Change the World!
