My Photographic Year In 2016 Things that inspired me this year IN THE NORTHWEST By Peter Reali

In 2016 I have been discovering some beautiful sites to explore and snap. Most of my images are very large panorama stitches composed of several images joined to make the large image. I intend to create large panels for display that can be made up to 4 feet in length but maintain very fine detail. So the 20 images are presented in full width and need to be scrolled in many cases to see the whole image. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did creating them.

We have these grain storage facilities all over Idaho and here is one that I shot near Lewiston Idaho. I went for some mystery with the sky and black and white brings out the grittyness and some kind of mystery I think.
Here is an old abandoned school house that ended it's career in 1949 in rural Idaho
Here is another sort of surreal interpretation of the Boardman Tree Farm in Oregon
The Palouse is such an amazing place that I think I will create another Spark just to document the beautiful landscapes I took there. This image I took at sunrise from Steptoe Butte looking at an early traveler
Here is another shot at Sunrise from Steptoe Butte on the Palouse in Washington
Here is another after sunset shot from Steptoe Butte on the Palouse
