STIKS Academy Travel Baseball Team Tryouts 2021-2022 season

About STiKS Academy:

STiKS Academy opened in 2012 with an indoor facility in Oconomowoc Wisconsin with the intent to offer young aspiring athletes from the Lake Country Area a place to train 12 months per year. Giving Wisconsin athletes the opportunity to reach their ultimate potential was our main purpose. In 2013, we began our own competitive travel baseball program in search of players that were looking for “more” than just a general baseball experience but those that wanted an opportunity to play against the top competition throughout the midwest and have the ability to train and develop throughout the year. In late December of 2016 we moved into our state of the art facility in Waukesha in order to provide our teams and other young athletes from SE Wisconsin the opportunity to take their talents to an even higher level.

Philosophy:

We have a unique philosophy at STiKS as we know what sports have done in the formation of WHO we are as people. Through competition, teamwork and discipline these basic fundamentals have laid the foundation for our personal lives and helped us become successful outside of the athletic fields. Not only is our goal to be able to provide a first class facility to train year round but develop kids and prepare them “For Life.” We want every child that comes through our doors to be influenced in a positive manner through athletics and we want to be able to say that we had an influence on the child’s development both as an athlete and as a person more importantly. We hope that you will enjoy your experience at STiKS and continue to follow us on Twitter and through our website. We are extremely passionate about children’s athletics and the opportunity to provide a first class facility to train.

Mission:

The mission of our Teams is to provide a very high level of instruction, competition and an environment to learn who you are and what you can become as an athlete. We want to work with young athletes that aspire to play at the very highest levels. Our teams play competitive baseball and expect commitments from players and their families. Players are expected to be in attendance for practices and games and work on their own outside of practice as well. We are looking for players that are committed to improving their skills, want to play a high level of competition and are not afraid to outwork the competition.
