Type 1 Diabetes background of the disease

Type one diabetes happens when the pancreas can not release insulin to break down the glucose. Insulin is a protein that beaks down glucose. Glucose is a sugar that is used for energy. Diabetes happen when insulin can not be released from the pancreas. Insulin not being released is a result of Type 1 Diabetes.
