There are 3 main types of fats found in the foods we eat. These include:
- SATURATED FAT = Bad fat found in animal products and processed foods
- MONOUNSATURATED FAT = Good fat found in avocados, some nuts and olive oil
- POLYUNSATURATED FAT = Good fat containing omega 3 fatty acids and omega 6 fatty acids found in fish, sunflower oil, some nuts and seeds
