Just The Way You Are - Bruno Mars
I think this song describes how David feels about Tally and that's why I think it's a song he would listen to.
Stop and Stare - One Republic
I chose this song because I believe this is how he would feel if he had to live in the city and how I think he did feel when he went there with Tally.
Hunting, Fishing, and Loving Everyday - Luke Bryan
I think this song envelopes how David lives, what life feels like in the Smoke, and how he feels about the Smoke, it's also the type of music I think he would prefer.
My parents started a place to get away from the lies of the cities, a place where everyone was equal no matter what they looked like. It's called the Smoke, and it's the only home I've ever known. I'm different, I was born and raised a Smokey, in the wild. I'm an Ugly and I help others escape from life in the cities. I bring them back to the Smoke and teach them how to adjust. We give them a choice, they don't have to be like everyone else, they don't have to be a Pretty. But we won't force them to stay here if they don't choose to.
My interests and Favorites:
I was trained to survive in the wild and to help others do so too, so my skills don't consist of the normal city ones. Most of my skills are survival skills: cooking, hunting, fishing, sewing, ect. Which doesn't leave a lot of time for me to learn much else, my main focus has to be on developing the Smoke or, at the moment, saving it. Since I can't depend on always having something with me and knowing that I might have to leave everything behind at a moments notice, I don't have many favorites.
My Latest Blog Entry:
When it finally happened, the Smoke was discovered and the people were taken, I wasn't there. Tally had escaped and had found me. Now we were in enemy territory, and I had no idea what I was walking into. The place looked so compacted and much more high-tech than anything in the Smoke. It put me on edge, such a well made city and it couldn’t keep people from sneaking out? I don’t think I could withstand a place like this. Tally, however, looked right at home. I guess she would considering she had grown up here, and it helped that at least one of us knew what we were doing. When we had saw that the building was near impossible to break into, Tally had a plan. She snuck expertly into another building and stole the bungee jackets. Then she convinced other Uglies to help us and created a diversion. It surprised me though how willing those kids were to help us. Although, in their mind, it was probably just another trick, albeit a little more crazy. Our part was the hard one though, we had to sneak into Special Circumstances. We ended up bungee jumping down a hill and onto the roof, then we had to go down an elevator shaft. This mission was insane, and that was only the beginning.
