This is entrance place of Ponnalai varatharajar perumal temple. And this entrance has 'thuvara balakar' in two sides.

This temple is located at ponnalai Nothern Province in Sri Lanka.

Ponnalai is a beautiful place.

There is a natural sea side (beach) backside of this temple and it is a village.

LORD VISHNU has ten incarnations.

This is seems for a paintings of perumal temple. It is seems incarnations of Lord Vishnu. There are Vamana Avatar, Varakamanar and Narasimma Avatar.

This is incarnations of lord Vishnu. There are Kirishnar , Iramar , Parasu ramar, Machcha avatar and Kalki avatar

Moolasthana Lord Vishnu

This place about (22) kilometers from Jaffna town. Next to Moolai.

Ponnalai Krishnan kovil is a hindu's temple. And one of the ancient people in Jaffna. This temple dedicated for Lord Perumal. It's called as Varatharajah perumal kovil, kannan kovil and krishnan kovil.

This statue is very ancient of Lord Perumal.

The 'Holy Theertham' of this temple is oceanic sea. The 'Vanni tree' growing in temple premise is believed to bear some divine significance.

This is Vasantha Mandapam of Perumal kovil.

It is callled of 'Chariot of Lord Vishnu'.

This is a main vilza of perumal kovil.

There is a special festival also and it's held on two different occasions. One is on August month. Second is on December month for ten days. This occasion call as 'Vaikuntha eakadeshi' or 'Thiruvenpavai'. And there is two times chariot festival in a year. Every sunday also there is a special pooja in this temple.

This is situated infront of perumal kovil. It is a Anjaneya kovil. Anjaneya kovil is seems for a kaval theivam of perumal kovil.
