Celebrate Latinx Heritage Month with Us at the Commons Dining Hall! Commons Takeover Event: During Dinner on Wednesday, September 15

Together we can do great things.

Latinx Heritage Month celebrates the cultures, contributions, and resilience of the Latinx, Hispanic, and Latino-identified communities around the world.

More than 50 years ago, President Lyndon Johnson signed into law the Proclamation 3869: a week long celebration of the histories, cultures, and contributions of Hispanic Americans to the national heritage of the U.S.

Since then, the week-long event has grown into an internationally ceelbrated commemoration from September 15th to October 15th, intrinsically linked to the independence anniversaries of several Latin American Nations and uplifts and cultural legacy of a group deeply rooted in rich traditions.
