Computer Security Tips For the workplace

Understand that you can fall victim to computer hackers

It is everyone's responsibility to take the necessary safety precautions. Do not ever think that you are an exception.

Create unique passwords for all accounts that you can easily remember.

And keep them to yourself.

Be cautious when opening attachments and clicking on links in e-mail.

Steer clear of opening attachments from unknown recipients that seem unsafe and inspect any URL to ensure it is a trusted source.

Do not leave your devices unattended.

If you must step away from them, make sure they are locked so no one else is able to access them.

Keep your devices and software up to date.

Your machines and their programs are less vulnerable when maintained and upgraded properly.
