Who are the prophets in our world ??
Nic and Luke are like prophets as they are helping out people less fortunate than them, giving up their time and some money to make use and drive these vans around Australia to help make the homeless of Canberra happier and cleaner. Nic Lucas and all volunteers of the van together provide over 1 300 hours of positive and genuine conversation per week between them and the volunteers of the orange sky laundry.
AMOS, was an advocate for social justice and helping out other less fortunate than himself. The inventors behind orange sky laundry are similar to Amos as they are helping others less fortunate than themselves and by providing social justice they were providing opportunities for showering and washing and privileges to be able to have a private shower with soap and dry off with a provided towel, also by providing washing machines and dries to clean clothes. This also improved their comfort as wearing clean dry clothes is much more comfortable than wearing wet, smelly, dirty and cold clothing.
Do to others as you would have them do to you.
FRIENDSHIP - this relates to Nic and Lucas as they are helping others as they would want to be helped. They provide friendly conversations they would want to receive in a time of need. They treat others the way they would want to be treated and they help others in way they would want to be helped, if needed.
I can do all this through him who gives me strength.
STRENGTH- this relates to Nic and Lucas as they give the extra strength needed to the homeless of Australia to help them through there times of need. They give them the final push to build themselves back up and to help serve themselves.
But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be children of the Most High, because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked.
LOVE- this relates to Nic and Lucas as they are spreading love all around Australia even in the sight of the Orange van. The volunteers who help out at the vans to the people utilising the vans, Orange sky is making the rough times better for the homeless and spreading love in all ways possible.
There are orang sky mobile laundries all over Australia, they have advanced from 5 vans to 11 all over Brisbane, Canberra, Gold Coast, Melbourne, Sydney, Sunshine Coast, Perth, Adelaide, SE Melbourne, Wollongong and Hobart. They have now opened showers as well as laundries. Orange sky is growing bigger and bigger everyday.
