The Craft Garden Fiona burnham

To come up with this company, I combined two of my favorite things: arts and crafts and gardening. I made some of the planters as a project for myself because I thought they were cute and wanted to decorate my own room with them. My friends and family were constantly complimenting me on them, and I even was asked by a couple people to make some for them.
My mom really encouraged me to get involved with this business. She thought it would be a great opportunity for me to get a taste of the business world while doing something I love.
My mom and dad are both really artistic and creative individuals, and they definitely passed some of that on to me. My mom is very into gardening and working outside on our gardens as well as inside on painting.
I love art and creating things whether it be digital art, designing a website, or physical things like my products. In school, I love anything that requires thinking out of the box. Language arts is probably my favorite subject, just because it comes very naturally to me. Out of school, I dedicate a lot of my time to working on various projects and working on public murals with the Monroe Art Guild, a company that lets young artists get involved in the community.
I was expecting my typical consumers to be middle aged moms, usually with a home of their own that they are responsible for decorating, but when I had my first selling opportunity I was surprised to see that I was selling many products to teenage girls around the same age as I am.
I have never seen anyone selling the exact same product I am, especially for how cheap my product is being sold for. Secondly, I am going to be adding an option where people can customize their planters, such as starting by choosing a pot with a plant in it, and then choosing their ribbon, decorations such as glitter or glaze, and the color scheme. I will also offer deals such as selling in sets of three. (3 for $12 or 2 for $10, which will be saving my customers money)
