Syra Marty The Swiss pin-up

Syra Marty, born in Goldau (canton Schwyz) as Josefina Magdalena Marty moved to LA in 1948 to become a Burlesque dancer and celebrity Pin-up.

She was known for breaking Frank Sinatra's heart!

Syra, who appears on films like Edge of Hell (1956), Fanny Hill (1964) and Fingerprints Don't Lie (1951), started her career at the Can Can Follies Theater in Hollywood.

In 2009, the documentary film "SYRA MARTY – DÄCHLI LENI GOES TO HOLLYWOOD" portrayed her incredible life.

Miss Marty married Billy Frick in 1946, and during 32 years, Billy Frick worked for her as a manager.

The Hollywood pressed named her the "most beautiful woman since Greta Garbo".

Leni died in 2011, dayus before her 90th birthday.
