The legend of how Rome got its name began about 700 BC.
Rhea was the daughter of a king in Italy. Her father was killed by his brother. She was not allowed to have children.
She fell in love with mars, the Roman god of war and had twin boys.
The king was jealous so he ordered his servant to take the twins and drown them in tue river Tiber.
The she wolf saved the twins and looked after them like her puppies.
The shepherd found the twins and took them home to his wife. They called them Romulus and Remus.
They grew up to be shepherds. One day they got into a fight with the kings shepherds. The kings shepherds captured Remus. Romulus saved him and killed the king.
Romulus and Remus went to find a mantine sow Remulus and Remus a to mantine palantine and avatine
Romulus and Remus had a fight
So romulus won the fight
