Year 3 & 4 Excursion to the Botanical Gardens

"Year 3 and 4's trip to the Botanical Gardens was AWESOME! We all had lots of fun. We separated into different groups and looked at leaf litter and found lots of little bugs and creatures. We then looked at samples of water from a big pond which was the home to big eels! After that, we looked at a few insects under a microscope and stick insects. The last thing that we did was create a pine cone animal using pine cones (obviously!), pipe cleaners and string. It was such a great day, we wish we could go back!"
