Fireball

Pitbull

Mr. Worldwide to infinity

You know the roof on fire

We gon' boogie oogie oggi, jiggle, wiggle and dance

Like the roof on fire

We gon' drink drink and take shots until we fall out

Like the roof on fire

Now baby give a booty naked, take off all your clothes,

and light the roof on fire

Tell her baby baby baby baby

I'm in fire

I tell her baby baby baby

I'm a fireball

Fireball

I saw, I came, I conquered

Or should I say, I saw I conquered, I came

They say the Chico on fire and he no liar

While y'all slippin’ he runnin’ the game

Now big bang boogie

Get that kitty little noogie

In a nice nice little shade

I gave Suzie a little pat up on the booty

And she turned around and said

Walk this way

I was born in a flame

Mama said that everyone would know my name

I'm the best you've never had

If you think I'm burning out, I'm never am

I'm on fire

I'm on fire

I'm on fire

I'm on fire

Fireball

Sticks and stones may break my bones

But I don’t care what y’all say

'Cause as the world turns, y’all boys gonna learn

That Chico right here don’t play

That boy’s from the bottom, bottom of the map

M.I.A U.S.A

I gave Suzie a little pat up on the booty

And she turned around and said

Walk this way

I was born in a flame

Mama said that everyone would know my name

I'm the best you've never had

If you think I'm burning out, I'm never am

I'm on fire

I'm on fire

I'm on fire

I'm on fire

Fireball

We're taking it, we're taking it

We're taking it down

We're taking it, we're taking it

We're taking it down

We're taking it, we're taking it

We're taking it down

We're taking it, we're taking it

We're taking it down

We're taking it, we're taking it

We're taking it down

We're taking it, we're taking it

We're taking it down

We're taking it, we're taking it

We're taking it down

We're taking it, we're taking it

We're taking it down

Now we're bring it, we're bring it

We're bring it back

We're bring it, we're bring it

We're bring it back

We're bring it, we're bring it

We're bring it back

We're bring it, we're bring it

We're bring it back

We're bring it, we're bring it

We're bring it back

We're bring it, we're bring it

We're bring it back

We're bring it, we're bring it

We're bring it back

Fireball

Fireball

Tell her baby baby baby baby

I'm in fire

I tell her baby baby baby baby

I'm a fireball

The first example of figurative language is a simile because it is comparing the dance to being fire which means that it is really good

The second example of figurative language is another simile because it is saying that they will drink a lot that they will fall and it will be like the roof is on fire so they think that is will be fun.

Shut Up and Dance

Walk The Moon

Oh don't you dare look back

Just keep your eyes on me

I said you're holding back

She said shut up and dance with me

This woman is my destiny

She said oh oh oh

Shut up and dance with me

We were victims of the night

The chemical, physical, kryptonite

Helpless to the bass and the fading light

Oh we were bound to get together

Bound to get together

She took my arm

I don't know how it happened

We took the floor and she said

Oh don't you dare look back

Just keep your eyes on me

I said you're holding back

She said shut up and dance with me

This woman is my destiny

She said oh oh oh

Shut up and dance with me

A backless dress and some beat up sneaks

My discotheque Juliet teenage dream

I felt it in my chest as she looked at me

I knew we were bound to be together

Bound to be together

She took my arm

I don't know how it happened

We took the floor and she said

Oh don't you dare look back

Just keep your eyes on me

I said you're holding back

She said shut up and dance with me

This woman is my destiny

She said oh oh oh

Shut up and dance with me

Deep in her eyes

I think I see the future

I realize this is my last chance

She took my arm

I don't know how it happened

We took the floor and she said

Oh don't you dare look back

Just keep your eyes on me

I said you're holding back

She said shut up and dance with me

This woman is my destiny

She said oh oh oh

Shut up and dance

Oh don't you dare look back

Just keep your eyes on me

I said you're holding back

She said shut up and dance with me

This woman is my destiny

She said oh oh oh

Shut up and dance with me

Oh oh oh shut up dance with me

Oh oh oh shut up dance with me

The first example of figurative language is a metaphor because it is comparing the two of them to victims of the night which means that they where doing things that they wouldn't do normally during the night.

The second example of figurative language is a hyperbole because it is saying that when he looks in her eyes he can see the future which no one can look very deep in someones eyes and no one can see the future.

Welcome to the Black Parade

My Chemical Romance

When I was a young boy

My father took me into the city

To see a marching band

He said, "Son, when you grow up

Would you be the savior of the broken

The beaten and the damned?"

He said, "Will you defeat them

Your demons, and all the non-believers

The plans that they have made?"

"Because one day I'll leave you

A phantom to lead you in the summer

To join the black parade."

(When I was a young boy)

(My father took me into the city)

(To see a marching band)

(He said, "Son, when you grow up)

(Would you be the savior of the broken)

(The beaten and the damned?")

Sometimes I get the feeling she's watching over me

And other times I feel like I should go

And through it all, the rise and fall, the bodies in the streets

And when you're gone, we want you all to know

We'll carry on

We'll carry on

And though you're dead and gone believe me

Your memory will carry on

We'll carry on

And in my heart I can't contain it

The anthem won't explain it

A world that sends you reeling from decimated dreams

Your misery and hate will kill us all

So paint it black and take it back

Let's shout it loud and clear

Defiant to the end we hear the call

To carry on

We'll carry on

And though you're dead and gone believe me

Your memory will carry on

We'll carry on

And though you're broken and defeated

Your weary widow marches

On and on we carry through the fears

Oh, oh, oh

Disappointed faces of your peers

Oh, oh, oh

Take a look at me cause I could not care at all

Do or die, you'll never make me

Because the world will never take my heart

Go and try, you'll never break me

We want it all, we wanna play this part

I won't explain or say I'm sorry

I'm unashamed, I'm gonna show my scars

Give a cheer for all the broken

Listen here, because it's who we are

I'm just a man, I'm not a hero

Just a boy, who had to sing this song

I'm just a man, I'm not a hero

I don't care

We'll carry on

We'll carry on

And though you're dead and gone believe me

Your memory will carry on

We'll carry on

And though you're broken and defeated

Your weary widow marches

Do or die, you'll never make me

Because the world will never take my heart

Go and try, you'll never break me

We want it all, we wanna play this part

(We'll carry on!)

Do or die, you'll never make me

Because the world will never take my heart

Go and try, you'll never break me

We want it all, we wanna play this part

(We'll carry on!)

The first example of figurative language is hyperbole because a phantom can't lead you into the summer so it is an exaggeration.

The second example of figurative language is hyperbole and personification because your misery won't kill anyone and it is saying that misery can so it is giving a human like quality.

The Marching Band

By Benjamen Hultgren

The wisper of the wind as silence hits the street

Then all of the sudden the loudness of the band can be heard from a mile away

Then next thing you know they are right in front of you like a loud cheetah

As they pass you wonder how do they look so perfect

When they pass you then you feel like a lover with chocolate

As the end of them come you feel a sadness as they pass on by

When the end meets you a loud crash from the cymbals ends the song

Then they keep marching and you hear them play another song

You think you wont hear it from a long ways away but you do

And as the marching band ends you feel like you want to start and help
