Unregulated smartphone usage can cause young teens to become to reliant on their smartphones and it will affect them in many aspects of their lives.
Smartphone Addiction in young teens affects family life. It creates a disconnect between the parent and the young teenager, and this weakens the relationship between the parent and their young teenager.
Smartphone addiction can cause a young teens grades to suffer, because the young teen may find it hard to focus on his or her work and may spend more time on their phone instead of studying and doing homework.
Smartphone addiction affects a young teenager's social life because they become so into their online social life that when they are with their friends they don't know how to talk and do things because everything is based off of their phone.
By creating No-phone zones, parents can make sure their teen has a good family, academic, and social life
