Best Of What Canada has to Offer by: Bikram

Toronto Raptors

The Toronto Raptors are an expert basket-ball group situated in Toronto, Ontario, that plays in the National Basketball Association (NBA). Since its establishing in 1995, the group has won four division titles and made the playoffs eight circumstances. After the Vancouver Grizzlies moved to Memphis in 2001, the Raptors turned into the main Canadian group in the NBA. The Toronto Raptors were one of two extension groups that joined the NBA for the 1995–96 NBA season, the second being another Canadian establishment, the Vancouver Grizzlies. It was a major stride for the NBA, as the move denoted the first occasion when that the league extended past the United States.

The Toronto Raptors are my favorite team in the NBA because it not only represents Toronto, it represents all of Canada. The Raptors are the only professional basketball team in all of Canada. The Raptors give us a feeling of independence and pride.

CN Tower

The CN Tower, Toronto, was the world's tallest unsupported structure until 2007, when the Burj Khalifa in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, outperformed it. In 1995 the CN Tower was known as one of the seven wonders of the present day world by the American Society of Civil Engineers, an assignment it shares with San Francisco's Golden Gate Bridge, the Chunnel underneath the English Channel, the Empire State Building and the Itaipu Dam on the Brazil/Paraguay border.

The CN Tower is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Canada. It is the second tallest building in the world. It is very important to Canadians.

Tim Hortons

Tim Horton's is a Canadian eatery network known for its espresso, doughnuts and association with Canada's national character. Its name comes from Toronto Maple Leafs defense-man Tim Horton (1930–74) who established the business with Montréal businessman Jim Charade. The main Tim Hortons donut establishment opened in Hamilton, Ontario, in April 1964.

Tim Hortons is one of the largest restaurant chains in Canada as of 2016. It means a lot to most Canadians.
