Gameday setup -- Sugar Bowl edition -- inside Oklahoma's locker room.
Auburn struck first, but OU's defense settled in and Baker and the boys went to work.
sooners start to roll
Oklahoma scored 21 unanswered points to open the second half -- including one incredible TD by Joe Mixon -- to turn a close game into a route.
With the outcome all but sealed, the Sooners went on a mission to get Samaje Perine the OU career rushing record, and he did so in classic Perine fashion.
when time stands still
It wasn't the first time the game stopped to recognize a Perine record-performance. The scene looked very similar to when he set the NCAA single-game record with 427 yards vs. Kansas in 2014... minus the rain of course.
As humble as it gets
Never one to seek the spotlight, Perine celebrated by taking a seat on the bench, while coaches and teammates filed over one by one to offer their congratulations.
OU's rushing king
Murray. Griffin. Owens. Peterson. Washington. Sims.
Perine tops them all.
Auburn scored a meaningless touchdown as the clock hit :00, and Bob Stoops walked away with his fourth straight win against a team from the SEC.
Thank you fans!
Sooner Nation made a difference in the Superdome, and for that we thank you!
