There are many definitions of our subject that come to mind.

“Church planting and Renewal: Plowing concrete for the glory of God.”
One man who sees streams in the desert and proclaims his vision to others.
But in the end, it is one preacher on fire with the Gospel in his own life. And others come to watch him burn.
Now. There is an online learning community about church planting & renewal for you. To listen. To learn. To love.

You are a pastor, a seminarian, a candidate for ministry. Or, perhaps, you are in the middle of a new church plant. And you say to yourself:

“What is my burden in the ministry? How do I express it?”
I need to do theological reflection and critical thinking about church planting, revitalization, renewal, and my place in it all.
What if there were a place where I could go to think these things through? But it would need to be online because, well, you know: work, family, and all the other things. But I would want the school to represent the truth of God’s Word, to stand on the shoulders of giants, but give me room to explore. I’d like my professor to be a mentor, a guide to the field trip of theological reflection. I don’t need to be indoctrinated, though. I need to think, to read, reflect, and, yes, I need to learn.
“I need to think, to read, reflect, and, yes, I need to learn about church planting and where I fit in.”

There is such a place. “For such a time as this."

Read. Research. Reflect. Respond. RENEW.

A TESTIMONIAL

"I began Dr. Milton's Church Planting and Revitalization course with a resolve that I am not the kind of man that God would use for planting a church - that I just don't have what it takes and won't ever be part of such a pioneering work. It wasn't long before Dr. Milton had me convinced, from Scripture, that God loves to plant new churches and that he will give those he calls an inescapable burden to do so. By the end of the course, I found in myself a passion for church planting that I had never known. I left with a newfound desire to participate in church planting, whether personally or indirectly. If you have the slightest spark in your heart for church planting, then you would be well-served to take this course from an experienced planter with a pastor's heart - but be careful, you just might end up on the front lines of a church plant one day very soon!" — Chandler Machemehl, Class of 2018
