Should NASA send humans to Mars? Are we ready to send humans to the red planet?

We have sent 14 rovers to Mars. Only two are still working. Are we ready to send humans there?

If we went to Mars then we would have some food to eat. What if the radiation makes it too dangerous to eat? What will we do then? We couldn't send a rescue mission because it takes six months to send a human to Mars with the closest alignment to earth that happens once every two years

No. We should not send humans to Mars. Not yet anyways. It's too dangerous because of radiation and there are too may things that could go wrong. We may find new minerals, but we already have rovers to explore and find new things on Mars. It is also very cold on Mars and you can get lost very easily there.
