2018 - Another year of awesome. The BSD FutureBus created over 60 customized experiences that engaged and inspired over 25,000 students, teachers, and community members around the Northwest. Making, learning, inspiring, every visit has the same goal: awesomeness. Click on the button to see where we've been and what we've been doing. Scroll down to see a few highlights of our year. We would like to thank you for your continuing support and enthusiasm for this project. We hope to see you in the near future!

Winter 2018 - We returned to Cascade Locks. This time we brought more than the bus. We combined with First Tech Credit Union to fundraise $2500 to get a class set of Lego Robots for Cascade Locks! Hood River School District had a surprise for us, too. The very first mission of their very OWN bus!! The Gorge Fab bus now serves students all over Hood River County!

Spring 2018 - Greenway students created, learned, and laughed. This was "illuminatED" - a full day immersive experience that reaches every kid and teacher in an elementary school. See the videos below to learn more.

Summer 2018 - The FutureBus was in full force at the OMSI Mini Maker Faire. Thousands of kids of all ages got to see the bus, and many of them came to the bus to see augmented reality, guitar building, and battle bot challenges. Conversations with parents and kids about learning and life went into the twilight hours.

Fall 2018 - The bus launches the new school year with visits to schools all over the region. When the bus comes, there is laughter. There is permission to struggle. There is encouragement to try again. When the bus leaves, when we get it right, there is a memory of joy. There is a spark of inspiration. There is nostalgia.

2019 - We are looking ahead to yet another year of awesome! We would like to again thank our sponsors who have made all of this possible. We will continue to pack the bus full of ideas and experiences and drive out to schools and beyond so we can continue to inspire our teachers and students. We hope to see you at one of our events!
